Steve Bright

Steve Bright is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in developing advanced analytical solutions across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Data Science at OPTX since March 2022, Steve previously held positions at Oracle as a Senior Data Scientist, where significant contributions included the development of data pipeline processes and machine learning algorithms for the Oracle Cancer Research Cloud. Prior to Oracle, Steve worked as a Data Scientist at Nike, achieving notable enhancements in customer engagement and cost savings through innovative predictive modeling and in-house capabilities. Steve's career began at IGT, where leadership in big data initiatives improved product performance, and earlier experience at Hyde Park Global Investments focused on quantitative research and automated trading systems. Steve's foundation in consulting was established at The Boston Consulting Group, where impactful analyses assisted major clients across various sectors. Steve Bright holds a BS in Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago.
