JeanAnn Nelson Trombley has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources leadership roles. JeanAnn Nelson currently serves as the CHRO/Vice President of Human Resources at the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community since October 2019. Additionally, they hold the position of Adjunct Faculty at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business since August 2019. Prior to these roles, JeanAnn has worked as an Executive Consultant, Chief Human Resources Officer, Vice President of Global Human Resources, and Vice President of Human Resources at various companies including Starkey Hearing Technologies, Ontrack, WuXi AppTec, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and Thomson Reuters. JeanAnn Nelson has a proven track record of driving transformational change, leading culture change, and aligning HR strategies with overall business goals.

JeanAnn Nelson Trombley has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resource Management from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business. JeanAnn Nelson also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing & Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Additionally, they have an Organizational Leadership Certification from the University of Michigan. Currently, they are pursuing a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Certification at Cornell University, expected to be completed in 2021.
