Jacob Ramirez

Jacob Ramirez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jacob currently serves as the Director of Technology Scada at Shalestone, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this, Jacob worked at Select Energy Services from 2016 to 2021, where they were a SCADA Developer in the R&D team and also served as an Automation Technician. At Tessco Energy Services, they held the position of Technician Apprentice/Apprentice Electrician from 2015 to 2016. Before that, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at DistributionNOW from 2014 to 2015. Jacob started their career at Heap Equipment in 2012, where they worked as a Sales/Warehouse employee until 2014.

Jacob Ramirez received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas Permian Basin, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Odessa College from 2009 to 2012, also for Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Jacob has obtained several certifications, such as Practical PLC Programming (PLC II) and PLC Programming From Scratch (PLC 1) from Udemy. Jacob has also achieved certifications in Ignition Gold 8.0 and Ignition Gold 7.9 from Inductive Automation, as well as Ignition 7.9 Core Certification.
