Umair Hashmi -Meng

Umair Hashmi, MEng, PE, currently serves as the Technical Design Lead and Senior Electrical Engineer at Shams Power Limited, where responsibilities include supervising solar site surveys and feasibility studies for solar power projects since February 2022. Prior to this, Umair held management positions in sales and application at VCare Engineering Service and MIA Energy, focusing on business development and team supervision. Experience spans roles as Service Engineer at Micro Industrial Technics, Lecturer at Sultana Foundation, and Junior Engineer at Pharmagen Healthcare Limited. Umair began a career as an intern at Kot Addu Power Company Limited and Shakarganj Limited, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, and a Master's degree from Air University.
