John Yung

John Yung serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and Managing Director at The Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, overseeing governance, risk, compliance, and digitalization initiatives. Additionally, John Yung holds multiple significant positions, including Chairman of the Board for Paofoong Insurance Company and various charitable foundations dedicated to community support and Taiwan's arts and culture. With extensive experience in strategic roles across multiple organizations, including AMK Microfinance Institution and Shanghai Commercial Bank HK, John Yung has a proven track record in IT, risk management, and business strategy. An alumnus of the University of Chicago, John Yung earned both an MBA in Strategic Management and an AB in Far East History, Political, and Economic Studies.
