Steven Gaynor

Steven Gaynor currently serves as Senior School Principal at Shanghai Singapore International School since August 2021, where responsibilities also include the role of IBDP Coordinator. Prior to this, Steven held the position of Head of Biology Department and IBDP/IGCSE Biology Teacher at YK Pao School from August 2018 to July 2021, achieving significant improvements in IBDP Biology results during that time. Steven's earlier experience includes various roles at Shanghai Singapore International School, including IGCSE Coordinator and Head of Science Department, where initiatives such as the Grade 8 Science Investigation Fair were introduced. Additional teaching experience includes positions at Cambridge International Centre of Shanghai Normal University and London Academy. Steven holds an Applied Educational Leadership degree from UCL, a PGCE in Science from King's College London, and a degree in Human Biology from the University of St Andrews.
