Matthew Addison

Matthew Addison has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. Matthew is currently employed at Shape Corp. as a Business Analyst since 2022. Previously, they worked at Gerdau Special Steel from 2014 to 2022, where they held various positions. Their roles included being a Business System Analyst III, where they were responsible for creating and implementing custom SQL queries to support the business. Matthew also served as the PLEX Champion for production, helping design and implement the PLEX Manufacturing software. Matthew also worked as a Production Control Supervisor, managing production planning and melting. Additionally, they worked as a Production Control Coordinator, responsible for maintaining customer inventory reports and tracking production. Prior to Gerdau, they worked at Fourteenth Avenue Cartage as a Billing Clerk, where they handled daily billing, invoicing, and telephone duties.

Matthew Addison began their education at Henry Ford Community College, where they obtained an Associate in Applied Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General. Afterward, they attended Wayne State University from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued a field of study in Computer Science but did not complete a degree. Matthew then enrolled at the University of Phoenix, starting in 2015 and expecting to graduate in 2023, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management. In February 2022, Matthew obtained a certification in the Learn SQL Course from Codecademy.
