Stephen Stewart has a diverse work experience in the engineering and maintenance fields. Stephen started their career in 2011 as a Facilities & Maintenance worker at Trans-Matic Mfg. Co, where they were responsible for general building maintenance and was licensed to operate various equipment. In 2013, while attending GVSU, they completed an engineering co-op and senior project with Shape Corp., gaining experience in both manufacturing and product development. At Shape Corp., Stephen held various roles, including Mechanical Engineering Co-op and Core Technical Engineer. In these positions, they were involved in designing and developing crash safety parts for the automotive industry, managing the entire product development cycle, and providing technical expertise. Their contribution to Shape Corp. continued until at least August 2018.
Stephen Stewart attended Grand Valley State University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
