Bátor Tallér has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Bátor currently works as a Software Engineer at Shapr3D, starting from September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Prezi, where they held two positions. From July 2020 to September 2021, they served as an OSX/iOS Engineer, focusing on porting Prezi Video and Prezi Present to arm64 for M1 compatibility. Bátor also worked on bug fixes and features using Objective-C, Swift, and Reactive Cocoa. From September 2019 to July 2020, they worked as a C++ Software Engineer at Prezi.
Before joining Prezi, Bátor worked at GRAPHISOFT between July 2015 and September 2019. Bátor undertook various projects related to 3D modeling, creating data structures, and UI development. This experience allowed him to gain insights into working with a large codebase. Prior to this role, from July 2015 to January 2019, Bátor worked as a Software Engineer 2 at GRAPHISOFT, where they further developed their skills in C++ and gained experience in different aspects of software development.
Additionally, Bátor has experience working as a Laboratory Demonstrator at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from September 2013 to May 2016. In this role, they assisted students with their programming tasks, graded tests and homework, and played a supportive role in teaching Basics of Programming 1/2 using C/C++. Bátor also worked as a Java Developer at the university from June 2013 to September 2014, where they contributed to the development of an Electricity Market simulator game.
Bátor also briefly worked for a startup in 2014 as a Java Developer. Bátor was involved in developing a GPS pet tracker system prototype, where they created both the backend and frontend using Java, JAX-RS, MySQL, and JavaScript.
Bátor Tallér earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
