Marco Mussini has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.
Starting in 1987, they worked as a professional musician, specializing in classical piano. Marco performed in concerts across Europe and participated in National and International Piano competitions until 2008.
In 2004, Marco joined Metis Lab S.r.l. as an analyst programmer and web developer, where they worked until 2008.
From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a freelance iOS and web developer, taking on various projects independently.
In 2010, Marco founded AllMyThings, a native home inventory app for iOS. Marco independently designed and distributed the app, maintaining and improving it until 2015.
At 6Wunderkinder, Marco served as a software engineer from 2013 to 2015. Marco led the development of major features for Wunderlist versions 2 and 3 and played a key role in enhancing and extending Wunderlist for Mac.
Marco then joined Microsoft in 2015, working as a software engineer on Microsoft To Do. Marco focused on Cocoa Touch and Cocoa development using Swift and Objective-C, implementing important feature redesigns in collaboration with the design team. Marco also coordinated with distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones. Marco'stenure at Microsoft lasted until December 2020.
In 2021, Marco contributed to the development of the mmhmm app for Mac, from version 1.3 to version 2.2, as a senior software engineer.
In 2022, they took on a role as a senior software engineer at an undisclosed company, working on various projects until July 2022.
Currently, Marco works at Shapr3D as a senior software engineer. Marco initially joined the Growth & Activation Team from September 2022 to February 2023. Marco then transitioned to the Sync Team, where they continue to work.
Marco Mussini has a diverse education history. Marco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they attended the 3rd Summer school of scientific visualization and interactive 3D graphics at CINECA, the largest Italian computing centre, in 2003.
Before their university education, Marco attended Istituto Superiore "Achille Peri" in Reggio Emilia from 1988 to 1998, where they studied music, specializing in piano.
Marco has also obtained various certifications. Marco completed courses such as "Characteristics of a Great Scrum Master", "Scrum: Advanced", "Applied Machine Learning: Foundations", "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines", and "App Development for Microsoft HoloLens" through LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained between May 2019 and November 2019.
