Nicolas Louvet has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Nicolas began their career in 2001 as the Deputy Director of the City, Environment, and Transport Department at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. In 2002, they became the CEO of 6t Bureau de recherche. Nicolas also served as a Research Associate at LATTS ENPC from 2005 to 2015 and as a University Lecturer at EPFL from 2005 to 2015. In 2011, they became a University Lecturer at Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense, until 2013. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Member of the Editorial Board at Observatoire de la Ville. In 2014, they took on the role of University Lecturer at Sciences Po, where they lectured on mobility issues in large metropolises until 2020. Additionally, from 2014 to 2016, they served as a Member of the Scientific Board at Citiviz. Currently, since 2020, they are the Co-founder & Chairman of SHARELOCK, a company dedicated to developing secured shared lock infrastructure to promote active mobility.
Nicolas Louvet pursued their higher education from 1995 to 2001 at École des Ponts ParisTech. During this time, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the field of Urban Planning.
