Chao Qin

Chao Qin is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer at Google, specializing in machine learning and Search Ads since December 2017. With a robust background in large-scale machine learning, Chao has also contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at Yahoo since September 2013, focusing on anti-spam and anti-abuse technologies. Additional roles include Research Scientist at ShareThis, working on display advertising and data mining, and teaching/research assistant positions at the University of California, Merced, the University of Edinburgh, Oregon Health & Science University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where involvement in speech, robotics, and signal processing has been prominent.
