Melissa Cornwell

Melissa Cornwell has a diverse work experience in the service industry. Melissa started their career as a Server at The Cheesecake Factory in November 2014 and worked there until August 2015. Melissa then joined The Crow's Nest Restaurant and Event Center as a Server from September 2015 to August 2017. Melissa also worked as a Server at Enterprise Fish Co. from August 2017 to August 2018. Melissa then returned to The Crow's Nest Restaurant and Event Center, where they worked as a Server and Bartender from July 2019 to November 2020. Most recently, Melissa has been working as a Sales Development Representative at ShareVault since November 2020. Melissa also gained experience at Ymca Camp Jones Gulch, where they worked as a Program Counselor and Ropes Course Facilitator from October 2012 to August 2016.

Melissa Cornwell began their education journey in 2014 at Cañada College, where they studied Communication, General. Melissa then transferred to Cabrillo College in 2016 and completed their Associate of Arts degree in Communication in 2017. Melissa continued their education at UC Santa Barbara from 2017 to 2019, majoring in African-American/Black Studies and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2018, they also participated in study abroad programs at Universidad Alberto Hurtado and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, although no specific degrees or fields of study are provided for those experiences. Additionally, in October 2019, Melissa obtained a certification in Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD) from the California Alcoholic Beverage Control institution.
