Adam Petrick has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 1996 as an Instructor at Susan Petrick, M.Ed., Educational Therapy where they taught basic skills to students and provided test prep guidance. In 2000, they worked as an eCommerce and Digital Project Manager before transitioning to a role as Niche Marketing Manager and later as a Brand Manager. In 2005, they became the Group Head of Brand Management and in 2007, they served as the Head of Marketing for China, overseeing the transition of the Chinese business model. From 2008 to 2011, Adam held the role of Senior Head of Global Brand Management, leading global marketing campaigns and establishing operating structures for digital marketing. Adam then became the General Manager of the Sportstyle Business Unit and later served as the Global Director of Brand Management. In 2013, they were promoted to the position of Global Director of Brand and Marketing, where they led all global marketing efforts and established the global brand and marketing process. From 2018 to 2023, Adam served as General Manager of the Basketball Business Unit, overseeing the company's successful return to the global basketball marketplace. In 2022, they were appointed as Global Chief Brand Officer at Puma, leading the total global marketing strategy. Adam also served as a Non-Executive Board Member at Brompton Bicycle and will join SharkNinja as Chief Marketing Officer in 2023.

Adam Petrick attended Princeton Day School from 1983 to 1993, where they obtained their High School Degree. From 1993 to 1997, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a B.A. in Theatre Arts.
