Catherine Coughlin

Catherine Coughlin has a diverse work experience in the fields of marketing and communications. Catherine is currently employed as an Account Director at Sharp Think since April 2022. Prior to that, Catherine worked at Resnicow and Associates where they held various roles, including Director from August 2021 to April 2022, Senior Account Supervisor from August 2019 to August 2021, and Senior Account Executive from April 2018 to August 2019. Before joining Resnicow and Associates, Catherine was employed at Montclair Art Museum from June 2011 to April 2018. During their time at the museum, they progressively took on more strategic responsibilities as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications. Catherine led press initiatives for exhibitions, programs, and events and also developed and supervised a Communications Assistant role. Catherine also served as the Marketing and Communications Manager at the museum from July 2013 to October 2016, where they designed and analyzed the museum's social media presence, initiated the museum's Instagram and Snapchat accounts, and launched their online collection and rebranded website. Prior to that, they worked as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator from June 2011 to June 2013, where they developed and implemented a creative social media strategy, coordinated the construction of a new website, and managed an e-news schedule.

Catherine Coughlin holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing and Strategy from Rutgers Business School. Catherine also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, where they studied Art History, Anthropology, and Italian. Catherine further pursued their education at New York University, obtaining a Professional Certificate in Arts Administration. Catherine completed their high school education at the Academy of the Holy Angels, earning a High School Diploma.
