Jon Budreski

Jon Budreski has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jon is currently working as the Director of Customer Development at Sharper Shape Group, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at ARE Corporation, starting as the Director of Business Development in 2014 and later becoming the Director of Business Development in 2018. At ARE Corporation, they focused on supporting customers in need of remote sensing and inspection solutions and played a key role in growing market share in the government, utility, and engineering sectors.

In addition, Jon co-founded AirShark in 2014, which was later acquired by ARE Corporation. Jon also has experience in academia, having worked as an Adjunct Professor of Aviation and Unmanned Aerial Systems at Vermont Technical College from 2015 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Jon worked at suncommon as a Non-Residential Program Manager, where they trained new sales staff and implemented innovative solutions for solar homeowners in Vermont. Jon's background also includes work in the public sector. Jon worked as a Natural Resource Technician and conducted research on water quality for the US National Park Service from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they served as a Forestry Technician with the USDA Forest Service, where they were involved in fire support, wilderness patrols, trail work, and education/enforcement activities.

Jon Budreski attended Colorado State University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources / Watershed. In 2000 to 2001, they enrolled in the Enterprise Airline Academy in Denver and earned a Certificate in Pilot Training. In 2011, Jon pursued additional education at the University of Vermont and obtained a Certificate in Leadership and Management. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as UAS Pilot (Part 107) from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2013 and SEL Pilot from the same institution in May 2001.
