Zhelyo Zhelev

Zhelyo Zhelev's work experience begins in 2005 as an Intern at Perini Building Company, where they were responsible for post-construction services and records management. Zhelyo then worked as an Office/Field Project Engineer at the same company from 2005 to 2010.

In 2010, Zhelev joined Tooles Contracting Group as a Site Construction Manager until 2011. Zhelyo then worked as a Project Engineer at TRE Builders from 2011 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2013, Zhelev served as a Sr. Project Engineer at Perini Building Company.

Zhelyo'snext role was at Shaw-Lundquist Associates, Inc, where they held the position of Sr. Project Manager from 2013. During their time there, they managed several projects such as the Allied E-sports Arena, Encore Beach Club Bar Remodel, DSquared2 at The Shops at Crystals, and The Park and Roadways.

Most recently, Zhelev joined Shaw-Lundquist Construction in 2022 as the Director of Project Management.

Zhelyo Zhelev's education history begins with their high school education at the High School of Mathematics "Atanas Radev" from 1995 to 2000. Zhelyo pursued a degree in Mathematics with advanced English education during this time. Following high school, Zhelyo attended the Universitet po Arhitektura, Stroitelstvo i Geodezia in 2000, where they studied Civil Engineering for a year. Subsequently, Zhelyo enrolled at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management.

In addition to their formal education, Zhelyo has obtained certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Zhelyo obtained the LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in February 2022. Furthermore, they acquired the OSHA 30 certification, which was obtained from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
