Kurt Krizan

Kurt Krizan currently serves as the Superintendent for Shawano School District since August 2021, following a position as Director of Instruction and Personalized Learning. Prior to this role, Kurt held the position of EC-6 Director of STEM at Appleton Area School District from July 2019 to September 2021 and served as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Little Chute Area School District from July 2014 to July 2019. Kurt began a career in education as a Middle School Teacher at Oshkosh Area School District, working from August 2004 to July 2014. Kurt holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Marian University of Fond du Lac and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
