Marketing Director - KSA at Shawarmer

Mohamed Afifi has extensive work experience in the field of marketing. Mohamed started their career in 2005 at Kuwait Food Company (Americana), where they held various roles such as Supervisor at KFC, Assistant Manager at KFC, and Store Manager at KFC. Mohamed then transitioned to marketing roles, serving as Marketing Coordinator and later Senior Marketing Coordinator, both in charge of the Central Region-KSA. Mohamed was then promoted to Assistant Marketing Manager, where they headed the marketing department for the Central Region-KSA. In 2017, they became the Marketing Manager for KSA, and in 2018, they took on the role of Regional Marketing Manager for KSA & Bahrain. After working for Kuwait Food Company (Americana) for over 15 years, they joined Shawarmer in 2020 as the Marketing Manager for KSA. In July 2021, they were promoted to the position of Marketing Director for KSA. Prior to their career in marketing, Mohamed worked as a Sales Representative at 6 th Of October University from 2003 to 2005.

Mohamed Afifi completed a Diploma in Marketing at Cornell University in 2016, where they specialized in Consumer Insight Strategy. Mohamed also obtained several certifications from Cornell University in 2016, including "Developing an Agenda for Change," "Social and new Media Marketing," "Creating and Communicating the Value of your Brand," "Leading Collaborative Teams," "Measuring Customer Preferences," and "Targeting Product and Service Designs to Customers' Needs." Prior to their time at Cornell, Mohamed completed a course in English, covering general conversational English and business terminology, at Future Generation Foundation Courses (New Horizon/Amideast) in 2005. Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Foreign Trade from Helwan University Cairo, which they obtained from 1998 to 2003.
