Helena Curtis

Helena Curtis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Helena currently serves as the Talent and DE&I Lead at Shawbrook Bank since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Culture Inclusion and Wellbeing Lead at PepsiCo from April 2019 to April 2022. Helena also had their own business, This Mama Rocks Ltd, where they offered coaching services to working mothers from July 2017 to July 2021.

Helena has held HR-related positions at several companies, including The AA as an Interim Senior HRBP - Projects from April 2018 to April 2019, PHOENIX WEALTH MANAGEMENT LIMITED as an Interim HR Change Manager from September 2017 to December 2017, AXA Wealth as an Organisational Transformation Manager from February 2014 to 2016, and as a Senior HR Business Partner/HR Change Manager from 2012 to 2014. Helena also worked as an HR Business Partner at AXA Wealth (formerly Winterthur Life Ltd) from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they briefly served as an Interim HR Business Partner at Vodafone from January 2006 to May 2006 and as an HR Business Adviser at The Law Society from September 2004 to December 2005.

Throughout their career, Helena has demonstrated skills in talent management, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), culture and well-being, business ownership, coaching, project management, organizational change, redundancy programs, and union consultations.

Helena Curtis has a diverse education history. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Kingston University and obtained a PGDip in Organisational Development and Change Management. In 2017, they pursued further studies at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, earning a certification as a Health Coach with a focus on Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies. In the same year, Helena also obtained a Certified Coaching Qualification in Women's Leadership Coaching from One of Many. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they completed a PGDip in Coaching at the Coaching Academy. In 2000, they became Fully CIPD qualified through their studies at CIPD. In 2018, they furthered their expertise as a Women's Personal & Leadership Development Trainer through One of Many. Most recently, in 2019 and 2020, Helena completed the Playing Big Facilitator Training course at Tara Mohr, specializing in Women's Leadership Development.
