Jade Kearney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jade started their career as a Special Education Teacher at New Orleans College Prep in 2014 and later joined Newark Legacy Charter School as a Teacher from 2015 to 2018. Jade then transitioned to the legal field, working as a Talent Development Specialist at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP for a few months in 2018.
In the same year, Jade also took on the role of an Academic Consultant at Highbridge Voices, where they stayed until 2021. During this time, they had a brief stint as a Founder in Residence at New York University and also participated in the NYU Female Founders Fellow program.
Jade's passion for entrepreneurship led their to found Jade Matters Inc in 2018, a company focused on empowering women. Jade also served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at digitalundivided and recently became a Founder at Techstars Seattle Accelerator in 2021.

Jade Kearney holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University. Additionally, they have completed a Master's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from New York University and a Master's degree in Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies from Georgetown University. Furthermore, between 2015 and 2017, Jade pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Montclair State University.
