James Stem

James Stem is an active retired member of the transportation safety community, having retired in October 2014. Prior to retirement, James served as the National Legislative Director and Alternate National Legislative Director for the United Transportation Union since April 1998. Additionally, James has been an Advisory Board Member at the National Labor College since 2001. Academic achievements include attendance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1966 to 1970.
