Alex Hamilton

Alex Hamilton is a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, specializing in Physical Chemistry and serving as Course Leader for the Chemistry BSc/MChem program since May 2014. Previously, Alex held a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Massey University, where lecturing covered a range from Introductory Chemistry to Advanced Nano-science. Additionally, Alex worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ICIQ from 2010 to 2012, focusing on computational studies of reaction mechanisms in transition metal and organocatalysis. Alex earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Chemistry from the University of Bristol between 2006 and 2010.
