Vice-Chancellor at Sheffield Hallam University

Liz Mossop currently serves as Vice Chancellor at Sheffield Hallam University, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Liz worked at the University of Lincoln as Provost and Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor from July 2018 to January 2024, as well as serving as Deputy Vice Chancellor. At the University of Nottingham from September 2006 to July 2018, Liz was a Professor of Veterinary Education and Sub-Dean for Teaching, Learning and Assessment, focusing on curriculum and student experience, and also held the role of Associate Professor and Sub-Dean. Additional experience includes work as a Lecturer in Clinical Veterinary Education and a Trustee for the Wikivet Educational Foundation. Earlier roles include Assistant Veterinary Surgeon at Gibson and Lee LLP and Clinical Director at CVS UK Ltd. Liz Mossop earned a Ph.D. in Veterinary Education from the University of Nottingham, a Master's in Clinical Education, and a veterinary degree from the University of Edinburgh.
