Kate Mortimer

Kate Mortimer is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal at Sheldon College since January 2022. Prior to this, Kate held the position of Deputy Principal and Head of Senior School at St Peter's Girls' School from January 2017 to December 2021. Kate's extensive career in education includes roles at Queenwood School, where responsibilities encompassed Wellbeing Coordinator K-12 and Head of Faculty PDHPE, as well as past executive functions in pastoral care. Earlier experience included leadership roles at Marrickville and Carshalton High School for Girls, highlighting a strong foundation in physical education and history. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southern Cross University and a Bachelor of Education with Honours in Health and Human Movement from the University of Sydney.
