Charity Hagen

Charity Hagen is an experienced environmental professional with a robust background in environmental compliance and management across several prominent companies in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Asset Environment and Compliance Lead at LNG Canada since January 2020, Charity is responsible for compliance assurance, regulatory interface, and overseeing environmental assessments and permits for a large LNG construction project. Prior roles include Senior Environmental Coordinator at Paramount Resources and Apache Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed remediation management, spill response, and regulatory compliance. Earlier experience at BP and Hunt Oil Company involved environmental auditing, incident investigation, and emergency response planning. Charity holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental & Conservation Science from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Red Deer Polytechnic.
