Edwin Kunkels

Edwin Kunkels is an experienced finance executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President Controller at Shell since January 2020, previously holding the position of Vice President Group Reporting - Deputy Controller. In addition, Kunkels has been a Board Member and Chair of the Investment Committee at Stichting Shell Pensioenfonds since October 2021. Prior to these roles, Kunkels was the CFO at Arrow Energy from April 2016 to December 2019 and held various positions at Shell from February 2002 to March 2016, including Head of M&A and Commercial Finance East and Controller Qatar. Kunkels began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager from September 1994 to March 2000. Kunkels holds degrees in Financial Economics and as a Register Accountant from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
