Nils Kappeyne

Nils Kappeyne is an accomplished technology and management professional with extensive experience at Shell, where Nils has held various leadership roles since April 2008, including Vice President of Architecture & Data and Vice President & CIO Integrated Gas & New Energies, overseeing IT for the Integrated Gas & New Energies business. Prior to this, Nils served as General Manager Subsurface & Wells, driving IT solutions for major projects and managing data across the Shell Group. Nils's early career includes significant roles at A.T. Kearney as a consultant and at Shell Downstream, where Nils led IT strategy and transformation initiatives. Nils holds an M.A. in Philosophy from Leiden University/Oxford University and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Leiden University, along with recent executive education at Wharton.
