Catrina Mathewson

Catrina Mathewson is the Development Director at SHELTERCARE. Prior to their current position, they served as the Development and Operations Coordinator at Rural Development Initiatives, Inc. from February 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they managed sponsorship solicitation and prospecting of potential funding sources, coordinated, prepared, and reviewed grant proposals for both corporate and privately owned foundations, arranged logistics for RDI trainings and events (including catering, facilities, contracts, and recruitment), and provided high-level administrative support to Directors and Operations staff.

From January 2016 to April 2016, Ms. Mathewson served as a Development Intern at Cornerstone Community Housing. In this role, they assisted with the development and implementation of fundraising plans, helped write grant proposals, and conducted research on potential donors.

From September 2015 to December 2015, Ms. Mathewson served as a Marketing and Development Intern at FOOD for Lane County. In this role, they assisted with the planning and execution of fundraising events, helped write grant proposals, and conducted research on potential donors.

From March 2015 to June 2015, Ms. Mathewson served as a Development Intern at Junior Achievement of Oregon & SW Washington. In this role, they assisted with the development and implementation of fundraising plans, helped write grant proposals, and conducted research on potential donors.

Catrina Mathewson has a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon. Catrina also has a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) is in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Catrina is certified by The Allstate Foundation in Nonprofit Leadership Center Management Essentials Online Connection.

They are on a team with Dana Petersan-Crabb - Housing Services Director, Ariann Harrelson - Clinical Director, Behavioral Health Services, and Kathleen Braodhurst - Finance Director. Catrina Mathewson reports to Michelle Hankes, CEO.
