Elisabeth Drake

Elisabeth Drake is an experienced professional in therapeutic recreation, currently serving as an Engagement Technology Specialist at Sheltering Arms Institute since June 2020. With a diverse background, Elisabeth has also held roles such as Recreation Therapist at VCU Health and VersAbility Resources, and Activities Assistant at Beaufont Health Care Center. In addition, Elisabeth has volunteered with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, supporting active duty members and veterans in learning fly fishing skills. Early career experiences include an internship at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, where patient assessments and goal development were key responsibilities, along with roles that involved guiding individuals with disabilities through various therapeutic activities. Elisabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Longwood University, earned in 2016.
