Nita Knies

Nita Knies has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Nita started their career in 2000 at Consolidated Insurance Services, Inc. where they served as an Office Manager, overseeing agency operations and managing agency licensing and company contracts. Nita also handled the Applied Systems agency management system and maintained agency/carrier relationships. Nita worked in this role until July 2014.

In the same year, Nita joined Shepherd Insurance as a Director of Commercial Services. Here, they managed a staff of over 30 employees and handled daily operations and service needs. Nita was responsible for agency licensing and carrier web administration. Throughout their career at Shepherd Insurance, Nita held various positions of increasing responsibility, including VP of Commercial Services and Partner. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Partner and Vice President of Commercial Service.

Nita Knies, CIC API CISR, attended Avon High School from 1981 to 1983 and Northwest High School from 1979 to 1981. Nita has not obtained any additional certifications, including API, CIC, and CISR.
