Estelle Brown

Estelle Brown is an experienced professional in the field of recreation and volunteer services, currently serving as the Manager of Recreation and Volunteer Services at Shepherd Village Lodge since March 2022. Previously, Estelle worked as the Lifestyles Manager at McCowan Retirement Community from July 2017 to April 2022, overseeing programs, events, and outings for residents with varying levels of care. Estelle's career journey began as a Program Therapist at The O'Neill Centre from May 2011 to July 2017. Estelle holds a Diploma in Activation Coordination/Gerontology from George Brown College and has furthered professional development through various certifications, including PEAK Leadership and Mental Stimulation, as well as completing the Montessori for Dementia Certificate and Dementia Care Training & U-First.
