Melissa Burgess

Melissa Burgess has a diverse work experience in the legal and dance industries. Melissa started their career at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP in 2003 as a Business Development Intern before moving on to become a Client Relations Coordinator. Melissa then became a Senior Events Manager and eventually advanced to the role of Marketing Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Firmwide Events at the same company. In 2010, Melissa also volunteered as a Community Dance Instructor at Addis Habana Dance Studio for a year.

Melissa Burgess attended Occidental College from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Politics. In 2021, they obtained a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from LEFT COAST POWER YOGA, LLC.
