Irene Gomez, LCPC, NCC, BC-TMH, serves as the Assistant Director of the Youth First Care Program and as a bilingual mental health therapist at Sheppard Pratt, with a focus on school-based mental health services in the PGCPS Youth First Care Program since September 2020. Previously, Irene worked as a mental health therapist intern under the PGCPS Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative from August 2019 to August 2020 and held internships at N Street Village and The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Irene's educational background includes a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision from The Chicago School (ongoing), a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School (2018-2020), a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland (2016-2018), and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Howard Community College (2014-2016).
