Jessica Funk

Jessica Funk is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Math Teacher at SHERIDAN SCHOOL DISTRICT 2 since August 2022. Previously, Jessica held multiple positions at Oakland Unified School District, including Teacher Leader, where responsibilities included leading technology initiatives and supporting distance learning, as well as teaching third and fourth grades. Jessica's teaching career began at Volusia County School District, where instruction was administered to third graders in both urban and rural Title I schools. Additionally, Jessica's background includes roles such as a Community Education Specialist with the United States Peace Corps, a remedial instructor, and a lacrosse coach. Jessica holds a Master of Education in Literacy Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Florida.
