Toni Tran

Toni Tran is a Lead Engineer at Sherman + Reilly, A Textron Company, since August 2015, with significant experience in leading new product development projects focusing on Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Previous roles include participation in the Engineering Leadership Development Program at Textron Specialized Vehicles, where cost reduction initiatives and product improvements were prominent, and contributions at Textron AirLand on the Scorpion Jet project, managing test coordination. Earlier, at Bell Helicopter, Toni worked on propulsion analysis and engine integration. A background in customer service was established through roles at Target and as a climbing instructor at Austin Rock Gym. Toni Tran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
