George Gonzales is currently a systems integrator at Sherpa 6. George has also worked as an information assurance manager at Oneida Technical Solutions from October 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they administered a network utilizing Windows Server 2008 R2 with Exchange Server 2003 utilizing Active Directory with Exchange Management Tools. George has also enforced United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) IA policies in order to mitigate network intrusions, violations, and spillages of classified data as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). George has also maintained policies for the Host Based Intrusion Detection System (HBSS) for multiple networks for 7th Special Forces. In addition, they have developed and enforced policies using DOD Information Security (INFOSEC) guidelines for both NIPR and SIPR networks at 7th Special Forces on all ARSOC, SOFNET and AFNET networks. George has also maintained patches and policies for the McAfee Enterprise Policy Orchestrator in order to mitigate IA violations across the NIPR and SIPR networks.
George has also troubleshot and solved end-user workstation issues as well as LAN issues to include computers, printers, switches, and network storage devices. George has also led a team of 8 joint service members in completing a total of 4500 work orders for over 2,000 users while maintaining 100% customer satisfaction. In addition, they have controlled and maintained 100% strict accountability of $2.5M worth of communications equipment installed over three geographically dispersed locations. George has also conducted Air Force network administrators training for 67 employees to increase network support for 2,300 staff. Furthermore, they have trained over 220 employees bi-annually on Information Assurance practices reducing network violations. Lastly, they have supervised a team of 5 employees during the installation of over 2,500 automations components for all of 7th SFG(A) during the Congressional Base Realignment and Closure move from Fort Bragg, NC to Eglin AFB, FL.
George Gonzales has an associate's degree in general studies from Fayetteville Technical Community College. George is certified by DISA in ACAS Operator and Supervisor v5.14, and by CompTIA in CompTIA Security+ ce Certification. George also has a Cisco CCNA certification and an EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
