Paul Handakas

Paul Handakas is the current Director of Aviation Programs at Sherpa 6. Paul has over 20 years of experience in the field of government contracting and procurement. Paul began their career as an Economist with the U.S. Department of Labor in 1998. Paul then became a Program Analyst with the same department in 2006. In 2009, they transitioned to the private sector and became an Acquisition Specialist with Government Contract Solutions. The following year, they became a Contract Administrator with the DCMA. In 2011, they returned to the Department of the Army as an Acquisition Management Specialist. In 2014, they became the Deputy Product Manager for PEO IEW&S. In 2020, they joined Army Futures Command as the Technology Transition Lead.

Paul Handakas has a MBA from Loyola University Maryland and a B.A. in International Business, Economics from Frostburg State University. Paul also went to Overlea High School and DAU.

Paul Handakas reports to Joe Dames, CEO & Founder. Paul Handakas works with Monique Hamrick - VP of Human Resources, Vinnie Pugliese - VP of Business Development, and Jim Hamilton - COO.
