Chris Cooke

Chris Cooke has extensive experience in the technology and infrastructure management field. Chris started their career as a Helpdesk Analyst at CPP Group plc in 1998 and then worked as a Senior Network Administrator at IT Incorporated - Birse Group from 2003 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2006, they worked at Dell as a Network Operation Systems Specialist, focusing on enterprise software solutions. Chris then joined Pocket Kings as a Systems Architect and Team Leader, supporting the online poker site FullTiltPoker.com.

In 2008, Chris joined Sherry FitzGerald as a Systems Architect, where they were responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the company's infrastructure. Chris also led a team and managed IT projects.

Chris later joined Elavon Financial Services Ltd in 2016 as a Global Technology Architect, before returning to Sherry FitzGerald in 2017 as an Infrastructure Manager/Architect (Cloud). In 2018, Chris became the Associate Director - Infrastructure Manager/Architect (Cloud) at Sherry FitzGerald Group.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in infrastructure management, system architecture, and team leadership.

Chris Cooke has a diverse education history. From 2007 to 2017, they attended VMWare VCP, where they obtained a degree in VCP. In 2012, they briefly studied at VMWare VCP 5, achieving their VCP5 degree in February of that year. Before that, from 2002 to 2003, Chris pursued studies at Citrix and obtained a degree in CCA. Chris also attended the University of Lincoln from 1996 to 1999, earning a BSc in Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied at Colaiste Ide in 1995, where they obtained a National Certificate in Computing. Chris'seducation journey began at St Vincents CBS Glasnevin from 1989 to 1995, where they completed their Leaving Certificate. Additionally, Chris holds a VCP5 certification from VMware, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
