Christopher Hughes

Christopher Hughes is an experienced quality management professional with a strong background in polymer chemistry. Currently serving as Plant Quality Manager at Sherwin-Williams since June 2017, Christopher also held the position of Quality Assurance Team Lead. Prior to this, Christopher has been with Valspar since May 1997, where responsibilities include managing customer complaints and plant non-conformances utilizing Root Cause Analysis and 8D methodologies as a Quality Assurance Manager, along with previous experience as a Chemist focused on product development and technical service. Christopher began a career at Henkel Adhesives from January 1993 to April 1997, working as a Technical Service/Product Development Chemist, providing production support and analyzing polymer compounds. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Chemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas.
