Jigar Patel

Jigar Patel has extensive experience in the coatings and polymers field, currently serving as R&D Technical Manager at Sherwin-Williams since January 2014, where previous roles included R&D Group Leader Sr., R&D Group Leader, and Senior Chemist-R&D, focusing on product finishes. Prior to Sherwin-Williams, Jigar Patel was Development and Technical Service Manager at Wikoff Color Corporation and worked as a Coatings Chemist at Patcham USA. Early career experiences include a Research and Development Intern position at FM Group Inc. and a Research Assistant role at the Coatings Research Institute, concentrating on resin systems and coatings formulation. Jigar Patel holds an MS in Polymer and Coatings Technology from Eastern Michigan University and two degrees from Sardar Patel University—master's in Polymer Technology and bachelor's in Chemistry.
