Mary Gair

Mary Gair is an experienced educator and manager with a diverse background in teaching and service management. Currently serving as a Teacher at Shetland Islands Council since August 2018, Mary previously managed a team as a Service Manager for Royal Voluntary Service and held multiple roles in the arts and leisure sector, including Front of House Supervisor and Duty Manager at Shetland Arts Development Agency. Earlier experience includes consulting at Neals Yard Remedies Home and various customer service positions at Bank of Scotland and Alliance & Leicester. Mary holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from UHI and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Food Science and Marketing from Queen Margaret University.
