Rick Mullen

Rick Mullen is an experienced professional with a robust background in manufacturing, operations, and continuous improvement. Currently serving as Director of Manufacturing and Operations at Shield AI since July 2022, Rick previously held the role of Director of Continuous Improvement at Lennox International for a brief period. Prior experience includes significant positions at Bell Flight as Senior Manager of Operational Excellence and various project management roles, underscoring expertise in operational excellence and business continuity. An MIT alumnus, Rick earned both a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA with a focus on Operations Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Furthermore, Rick served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Trained Surface Warfare Officer, where responsibilities included Reactor Controls and Deck Division leadership on notable vessels.
