Ed Boal

Ed Boal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ed is currently working at Shieldpay as the Head of Legal since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Stephenson Law, where they held multiple positions including Director & Head of Corporate from March 2022 to April 2023, Managing Director from September 2021 to February 2022, Director & Head of Legal Operations from May 2020 to September 2021, and Senior Solicitor & Head of Scaleups from May 2019 to April 2020.

Before joining Stephenson Law, Ed Boal worked at Gregg Latchams (now Shakespeare Martineau) as the Senior Associate & Head of Digital Media & Technology from June 2017 to May 2019, Associate Solicitor from August 2015 to May 2017, Solicitor from September 2012 to August 2015, and Trainee Solicitor from September 2010 to September 2012. During their trainee period, they gained significant experience in corporate and commercial work, including M&A, corporate restructurings, commercial property matters, and general commercial agreements.
