Paul Hanlon

As Chief Information Officer, Paul oversees Shields Information Technology operations, strategy and investment. As a key enabler of the business Paul and his team work closely with partners across Shields to identify and deliver opportunities for improved patient engagement, operational efficiency and data insights to drive business performance. As a leadership partner for health systems, Paul also advises on the design and implementation of platforms that drive improved patient and provider experiences within integrated clinics and specialty pharmacies.

Prior to joining Shields, Paul served as CIO at several large-scale healthcare and financial services organizations. He has an established track record of identifying and delivering outcome focused change programs that deliver clear improvements in both customer service and business performance.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
