Derek Vanderhoof

Derek Vanderhoof is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in art-related businesses. Currently serving as Acquisition Sales Manager at Shift since May 2021, Derek is responsible for department training and team oversight, focusing on creating new training materials. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Sales Leader at Native Visions Gallery from 2018 to January 2021, where responsibilities included staff training and performance evaluations. Between May 2017 and May 2018, Derek worked as Gallery Director at National Geographic Fine Art Galleries, successfully recruiting and training a top-selling team. Earlier experience includes serving as Sales Floor Manager at Martin Lawrence Galleries from 2011 to 2017, achieving record-setting sales in a flagship gallery environment.
