Merida E.

Merida E. is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in design and education. Currently serving as a Senior Designer and UX Designer at ShiftKey since August 2021, Merida previously led design efforts for a marketplace at WeVidIt, which streamlined processes in the entertainment industry. At Embold Health, Merida designed a web application for Benefits Managers, collaborating closely with stakeholders. Prior experience includes over a decade as a Spanish Teacher and Curriculum Writer at Leander ISD, where Merida developed comprehensive curriculum aligned with educational standards, as well as curriculum writing at Trinity University, producing widely utilized educational resources. Merida holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Trinity University, complemented by additional studies at General Assembly.
