Mohamed Elgendy, MS, PE, CPESC, currently serves as a QC/QA Geotechnical Engineer at Shimmick Construction since November 2022. Previous positions include Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Crane Environmental Services, LLC, and at Himalayan Consultants, LLC, focusing on geotechnical site investigation and construction material testing. Mohamed held the same title at Infrastructure & Development Engineering, Inc., where responsibilities included geotechnical engineering and construction material testing. Prior experience as Engineering Manager at Marino Engineering Associates involved advanced geotechnical engineering analysis. Earlier, Mohamed worked as a research assistant at The University of Texas at El Paso, assisting in data collection and analysis. Additionally, tenure at CDM & AAW involved reviewing geotechnical reports and approving reinforced concrete shop drawings. Mohamed holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University.
