Monique Miller

Monique Miller is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and psychotherapy. Currently serving as a Psychotherapist Trainee at Shine a Light Counseling Center since September 2017, Monique provides therapy to a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families. Prior to this role, Monique worked as a Counselor at Encompass Community Services, supporting transition age youth in foster and probation placements. With a background in video production, Monique operated M.Miller Video, creating content for various institutions and organizations. Additional experience includes positions as a Contract Video Editor at Electronic Arts, Head Tutor at the Catholic Youth Organization, and a Teacher at McKinley Middle School. Monique holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Trinity College-Hartford.
