Gabriel Becerra

Gabriel Becerra is a highly experienced nuclear engineer currently serving as a Senior Nuclear Engineer at SHINE Technologies since June 2021. Prior to this role, Becerra worked at Phoenix, LLC from June 2014 to June 2021 as an R&D/Nuclear Engineer and Postdoctoral Research Associate. Becerra's academic career includes a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained from 2007 to 2014, and a Master of Science and dual Bachelor's degrees in Nuclear Science and Engineering and Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed between 2002 and 2007. Becerra's early research experience includes work as a Research Assistant at both the University of Wisconsin-Madison and MIT, as well as internships at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
